As part of a Hull food tour, my Southern friend had never had patty before, so we shared one along with some fish fingers. Deep-fried delights!

It's a shame about the original Bob Carver's. It just needs doing up exactly like it. Then reopening again. But the patties from the other one are lovely. Batter and breaded.

Best chippy in Hull, came from Scarborough to get one of their famous patties and took another five home! Curry sauce is lovely too with a kick of spice and no sultanas, the way it should be.

We visited bob carvers before Xmas 3 times,wife had fish and chips i had fish fritter,food was fantastic and staff very helpful and friendly, in fact we have just found out it's open to day Sunday so getting up and going,happy days,xxx

Great place to eat proper authentic fish and chips which this iconic family are renowned for here in Hull. The service is second to non and the girls are dementia friendly, as my mum is disabled and they are wonderful with her

Always spot on. Friendly staff, attentive, personalised service and exceptional food across the board, exquisite taste and very generous portions. Always fresh and cooked to order. Just had large fish and chips with traditional patties smothered in gravy and onion vinegar. I'll keep coming back. Thanks. James.

First time in here, useally go to the back of market one,but been closed since covid. We had lovely fish and chips with mushy peas,bread and butter with tea and coffee. Fish and chips were lovely, will be going back. Nice staff too (coffee was lovely as I don't like ground coffee).

Tasty fish and chips, good value for money, yerr nerr.
Great quality Fish and Chips available in multiple portion sizes. We visited here whilst Christmas shopping recently and got a table without any waiting. They offer table service and the staff were very prompt getting the food out. Everything tasted delicious and the prices were very competitive. You are also able to takeaway as you would at a typical Fish and Chip shop.
Always top quality and always try to visit when I go home to hull

Great place and great food!
Love this place. Always our go to when in Hull and often one fo the only reasons to go to Hull. Quality food with great service. Staff always happy to help and food arrives in good time from time of order. Plenty of seating inside and nice dining area as well as take away to front.
